We have teamed up with the Outdoor Partnership in Cumbria to run a number of free walking events for residents of Copeland and Allerdale, which includes a 10am minibus pickup on the day at Whitehaven Library.
The walk will be along the old Keswick to Penrith railway line trail (the last train was in March 1972) before turning to ascend the easter flanks of Latrigg. The summit of Latrigg is described by some as one of the best viewpoints in the Lake District (weather permitting) offering outstanding views over Keswick, Derwent Water and the surrounding fells.
