The Forest of Bowland has a wonderful mixture of wild and cultivated scenery, this walk explores some of the unique character of this Area of Outstanding Nature Beauty. We start our walk at the salmon river of Langden Brook, travel through some upland farmland then on to the wild peat fells. There is a steep walk to the summit of Totridge before traversing the fells of windswept heather and peat to find a shooting track. Following the grouse butts we will make our way back to Langden Intake
