Carreg y Foel Gron is a prominent crag which lies on the Western edge of the Moelwynion, a huge area of moorland in the East of Snowdonia/Eryri. The rock is a high friction igneous rock, and is characterised with big bubbly holds and is still wonderfully unpolished!
Join us for a Beginners outdoor rock-climbing day at Carreg y Foel Gron
These sessions are aimed at beginners and are perfect for first timers or progressing from indoor climbing to outdoor climbing. Our professional instructors will ensure you are fitted with a harness and helmet, before taking you through some basic rock-climbing tips and tricks before we get on the crag.
The session is delivered on “Top Ropes” so that you can remain safely secured to the crag throughout the day.
