This Mountain Training accredited course will be delivered in Nant Gwynant by Fliss Turner, our Hill Walking Officer for England & Wales. The aim of the course is to improve your confidence in mountainous terrain and will cover:
- Planning
- Walking skills
- Clothing and equipment
- Weather
- Navigation in the mountains
- Environmental knowledge
- Hazards and emergency procedures in the mountains
The course will be held over the weekend of 29th and 30th April, with a 2 hour online session in advance, and will cost £120 per person (excluding accommodation). Please contact felicity@blackdogoutdoors.co.uk to book your place.
