The River Ure runs through North Yorkshire and is approximately 74 miles long from its source to the point where it becomes the River Ouse. It is a beautiful section surrounded by open countryside and has an abundance of wildlife.

We will meet at Boroughbridge Marina for a briefing and a chat about our plans for the day. We will look at the kayaks, equipment and put on our Buoyancy Aids. We will then paddle upstream toward Westwick Lock where we stop for lunch and a drink before heading back down river to the Marina. During the paddle, we will get to work on our paddling techniques and look at water safety.

Further details of this Kayaking event, and how to book your place, can be found on our JustGo page.
