Join us for a Beginners Paddle Sports day on The River Soar
We will be using Sit On Top kayaks to paddle on part of the River Soar. Our launch point is at Broadway Meadows, a section of land leased and managed by British Canoeing.
Our day will start with a briefing and to talk about the plans for the day. We will talk about the river and kit up with Buoyancy Aids.
Please note we offering two sessions – please choose one only
We have various options for the trip. We can paddle towards Loughborough or through the backwaters towards Leicester. Either option gives us beautiful open countryside and the river is flat with no hazards or fast sections. The distance we cover will be decided on the day.
