The West Highland Way is Scotland’s best loved long distance route, stretching over 150km from Milngavie all the way up to the foot of Ben Nevis. We’ll be enjoying a section of this breathtaking route in the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, led by Caitlin. Loch Lomond is Scotland’s biggest Loch by surface area and marks part of the Highland Boundary fault – literally the break between the Lowlands and Highlands
Get ready to take your first steps on the famed West Highland Way, starting at the forestry car park just north of Drymen, continuing over Conic Hill (322m) and down to the bonny banks of Loch Lomond at Balmaha.
From there, we’ll take a quiet back road to Milton of Buchanan and back through the woods to the start.
Expect a mix of road, paved and unpaved paths
