We have teamed up with the Outdoor Partnership in Cumbria to run a number of free walking events. These events are specifically aimed at introducing residents of Copeland & Allerdale to our incredible green spaces.

These events include minibus transportation to and from local pick-up points, starting at Whitehaven Library at 10.00am. Details of all pick-up points, timings, and what to wear / fetch will be included in an information pack that is sent out after booking confirmation.

Ennerdale Water is a glacial lake situated in the western region of the Lake District National Park in Cumbria, England. With a maximum depth of 46 meters and spanning from 700 to 1,500 meters wide, this beautiful lake stretches 4.0 kilometers long and is surrounded by some of the most iconic and tallest fells in Cumbria, such as Great Gable, Green Gable, Brandreth, High Crag, Steeple, and Pillar.

Let’s take a stroll along the lakeshore path encircling the lake, beginning at the point where the River Ehen emerges from the lake and continuing towards the heart of Ennerdale. This area is recognized as one of the most untamed in England and features various initiatives to reintroduce species, including a significant population of Red Squirrels.
