We have recently teamed up with the Outdoor Partnership in Cumbria to run a number of free walking events. These events are specifically aimed at introducing residents of Copeland & Allerdale to our incredible green spaces.
These events include minibus transportation to and from local pick-up points, starting at Whitehaven Library at 10.00am. Details of all pick-up points, timings, and what to wear / fetch will be included in an information pack that is sent out after booking confirmation.
These low-level walks will be managed by qualified outdoor professionals and supported by Mental Health First Aid trained staff.
This particular walk will be a circular around Eskdale Green and is expected to take no more than 3 hours at a leisurely pace. No technical or expensive equipment is required, however raincoats and sturdy walking shoes / boots are recommended.
