Located in Ogwen Valley, Eryri National Park (Snowdonia), Tryfan is an iconic mountain that forms part of the Glyderau range. It boasts a distinct, pointed shape with rugged crags, making it one of the most recognisable peaks in Britain. Standing tall at 917.5 meters above sea level, it is the fifteenth-highest mountain in Wales.
The summit of Tryfan is host to the famous Siôn a Siân, also known as Adam and Eve in English. These twin monoliths are visible from the Ogwen valley and those who brave the “step” between them are said to earn the “Freedom of Tryfan.”
