We have teamed up with the Outdoor Partnership in Cumbria to run a number of free walking events for residents of Copeland and Allerdale, which includes a 10am minibus pickup on the day at Whitehaven Library.
After a our briefing, we will walk to Ashness Bridge, which is a lovely spot for lunch. Then, we will climb up Walla Crag and return to Keswick. Starting at the edge of the famous town of Keswick and its Theatre by the Lake, our route will take us through lakeshore, woodland, and open fell.
The route is a circular walk which will follow lakeshore, woodland and fell paths passing the iconic Ashness Bridge before climbing to the summit of Walla Crag with its commanding views over Keswick, Derwentwater and the Borrowdale Valley.
