Pen y Fan, located in Brecon Beacons National Park, is the highest peak in South Wales. Standing at 886 metres, it is the highest mountain in South Wales, and also the highest British peak south of Cadair Idris in Snowdonia. The twin peaks of Pen y Fan and Corn Du, with a height of 873 metres, have previously been referred to as Cadair Arthur or ‘Arthur’s Seat’.

We will take a less crowded route to reach the summit of Pen Y Fan in the Brecon Beacons. After the event briefing, we will trek to Corn Du, Pen Y Fan, and Cribyn and then return to the car park at a more relaxed pace. The challenging ridge walk will provide us with breathtaking views of the reservoirs and Fan Y Big. If we are lucky, we may be able to see all the way to the Bristol Channel.

Further details of the event, including the booking link, can be found on our JustGo platform.
